Summer Scene Study with Jill Wadsworth
For those students currently enrolled in the Intermediate or Advanced acting classes or new students interested in testing out the teaching methods at Donna Belajac Actors Studio. This program is a great way to keep the momentum through:
- In-depth discussion and script analysis
- Table work and text exploration
- Transitioning from seated work to fully embodied performance
- Trusting instincts and playing truthfully in the moment
Actors will strengthen listening skills, deepen emotional availability, and sharpen their ability to respond authentically under imaginary circumstances. The emphasis is on the procss, presence, and partnership.

For those students currently enrolled in the Intermediate or Advanced acting classes or new students interested in testing out the teaching methods at Donna Belajac Actors Studio. This program is an immersive five-week course designed for committed actors who want to deepen their craft in a focused, supportive environment. With enrollment capped at 8 actors, each participant recceives individualized attention and meaningful time on their feet.
The Work
Over five Tuesday evenings, actors will rehearse and perform selected scenes from well-known contemporary playwrights, working exclusively with a scene partner throughout the session. Each class builds progressively:
- In-depth discussion and script analysis
- Table work and text exploration
- Active Analysis techniques
- Transitioning from seated work to fully embodied performance
- Trusting instincts and playing truthfully in the moment
Actors will strengthen listening skills, deepen emotional availability, and sharpen their ability to repsond authentically under imaginary circumstances. The emphasis is on process, presence and partnership.
