Nailing Your Audition (Via Zoom)
with Jill WadsworthThis course is geared specifically to the local or national student who is seriously preparing for college theatre program auditions.
When: Sundays, Fall of 2025 Time TBD (Online via Zoom)
Tuition: $800
CLASS SIZE LIMITED TO 12 STUDENTS.
Every session will challenge the student’s abilities, testing their discipline and stretching their talent – all in a supportive environment. Students will get help with:
- Selecting and refining 6-8 contrasting monologues from contemporary and classical plays
- Information about performing arts schools, universities and programs
- Preparing a resume
- What makes a winning headshot
- Guidance on self-tapes for pre-screens
- Insight into the actual interview and audition experience
- What to expect when you are called back to an in-person audition.
Students and their parents are encouraged to talk privately with Jill Wadsworth, who will advise them on their college choices. This can be to review the schools to which you are accepted, put you in touch with other students who attend those schools, and share information she has about the programs you are considering.
NOTE: Class time TBD based on location of participants. Students will receive a syllabus at the first class, as well as a written evaluation at the end of the semester.
